Description:
This Colt Detective Special SA/DA revolver in .38 Colt N.P.(New Police) is in good condition. This Colt Detective Special is a second issue. The second issue was produced from 1947 to 1972, with the plastic grip model like this one, being produced from 1947 to 1954. The blued barrel and frame are in good condition with some minor pitting, on the frame. The blued 1 7/8" barrel is very good with clear sharp rifling in its bore. The factory blue curved grooved trigger is good with a firm crisp release in single action or double action. The brown plastic hand grips are in very good condition. This Colt Detective Special comes with a non factory brown cardboard box. .38 Colt
