Description:
This is a very nice Colt Police Positive Special SA/DA revolver in .38 S&W Special. The blued barrel and frame are good, with some very minor surface rust on the cylinder and crane, plus a small spot on the RH frame behind the cylinder shield. The blued 4" barrel is very good with sharp clear rifling in its bore. The factory checkered dark walnut wrap around hand grips are very good. The Police Positive Special revolver was produced from 1907 to 1995, was the most popular Colt revolver in its day and had over 750,000 produced. The Police Positive Special is produced on Colts "D" frame, making it different from the Police Positive. This Colt Police Positive Special does come with a non factory brown cardboard box. .38 S&W Special
