Description:
Ruger Single Six Magnum Convertible .22WMR/LR single action revolver, dated to 1966 (Old Model). This particular revolver is a rare model of Single Six, due to a few subtle yet important features. This revolver cannot be found on the standard Single Six or Convertible serial number ranges; it is instead designated a Single Six Magnum model, also indicated by the matching factory box (shown in the photos). This revolver, however, is numbered outside of the standard Magnum revolver ranges, and is not marked as a Single Six Magnum model on the frame, as it normally would have been. Our sources indicate that only very few Single Six's were made with these attributes. In addition to the unique characteristics of this revolver, it was also shipped as a Convertible model, with a .22LR cylinder. All things considered, the revolver is a very seldom seen type of Single Six. It is also in superb original condition, looking like it has seen only very light use, with only miniscule areas of wear. The lockup and timing is superb with both cylinders. The bore and chamber surfaces are excellent as well. Included is the original factory box, as shown. Please refer to the photos prior to purchase.
