S&W 14-2 .38 Special Target Trigger 6" Blued Wood Outstanding Trigger Match grade Revolver, not a general shooting iron . This revolver has been set up as a target revolver, minimum tolerance and the DA hammer has been disconnected to allow for a BEAUTIFUL trigger. This is not a revolver that you just shoot for fun. Well rested it keeps a .75 group at 25yds and a 2.0 group at 50 yards. I do believe it is capable of better accuracy; unfortunately not by me. It shows best with (and this is odd) with our 140g HBWC, 148g DEWC, and out 200g SWC. Again it certainly could be more the operator than the weapon, but it is what it is. We use 13BHN on the 148's and 15 BHN on the 200g. All sized 0.358". I did not bother to test with the GC versions, as there is no need in my opinion. The 200g are a blast to shoot at the 200yd gong, a lowly revolver making more noise than the rifle guys
