Description:
This is a very nice Winchester model 53 lever action rifle in .44-40 WCF. The blue on the barrel has some thinning but is still very good. The receiver may have some cold blue added but it is hard to tell. The wood again may have has a light sanding and cleaning with finish added. This is a very nice and hard to find rifle. .44-40 Winchester

Metal Condition: Very good. May have some cold blue added to the receiver but it is hard to tell.

Bore Condition: Bright and shiny.
Barrels: 22" round blue with sights.
Triggers: Single blue.

Fore End: Nice walnut with a few minor dings and a steel cap.
Butt Pad: Matching walnut with a straight grip and steel butt plate.

Sights: Flat top rear with an elevator and a short Lyman blade front.
