Top of barre flat is marked ""Manton London"". Barrel is octagonal and has a fine Damascus pattern. The bore is .65 caliber. Overall length is 11"". Pistol has a captive ramrod and a belt hook. The frame is engraved in a floral scroll motif as is the trigger guard bow. Stock is finely checkered. Action works properly. Manufactured approximately in the 1820's-1830's. Very fine craftmanship that any collector would be proud to own!
