Description:
Bill Bagwell "River Styx-Satan Lace" composite 10" Damascus-bladed combat/defensive Bowie made in 1983 in DeFuniak Springs, Florida. Double oblong brass guard, India Sambar stag antler handle. This is a fast, quick-in-the hand Bowie knife as only Bill could do. The knife bears a full distal taper and is approximately a bit over 1/4-inch in thickness at the guard and about 1/8 at about 9" to the tip. Blade width is 1-3/8-inch..Blade is stamped MS for Master Smith in the center while BAGWELL and DAMASCUS can be seen in an half-arch pattern which makes for a scarcity in today's marketplace.
