works fine in dry fire 30 inch x 12 gauge barrel with normal black powder pitting ,, all original with a brown patina finish ;; stock normal use for age and with some original finish ;;;;;;; i have owned several of these and this is not mint but not buggerd up and about the best you can get these days at my price and locks up tight and has ejector;;;;; barrel marked remington arms ilion ny also fwd of forearm 12 gauge;; model 1909 need ffl or c&r.. serial #111977 ;;; should clean up to fladerman ;;
