Description:
This 1916 dated .303 British Enfield SHTLE III rifle has a 25-1/4" tapered round barrel. The bore is very good. It is mounted with the standard issue front and adjustable rear sights. The finish is worn on areas of the receiver, stripper clip guide, barrel bands and trigger guard. The Select Hardwood buttstock, forend and handguard are in good condition with the exception of some handling marks, usage dents and factory splice repairs on the upper handguard. The wood furniture is fitted with 2 sling swivels, 2 piece handguard and a brass butt plate with hinged compartment containing a cleaning kit. Please Note: This rifle is missing its magazine and therefore is not included. The length of pull is 13-1/2", overall length is 44-1/4", and the weight is 8.6 lbs. Our stock number is #C180.
