This is one of the first Luger pistol variations ever manufactured at the Mauser factory. Combining leftover parts and components from DWM, as well as newly manufactured parts by Mauser, this early 1934 commercial Luger is constructed of toggles retaining the "DWM" monogram and a high polish blue finish, unmarked checkered walnut grips and stainless-steel magazine, corresponding serial numbers on the frame, locking bolt, trigger, side plate, barrel, and rear toggle link, large Mauser Oberndorf crown over "N" proof on the receiver and bottom of barrel, and a standard crown over "N" proof on the breechblock. In addition, this pistol includes a 4" 9mm barrel, dovetailed inverted-V front sight, V-notched rear sight and a stock lug on the grip.
