Description:
An Indian Wars Spade bayonet and I am not sure if it is a reproduction or an excellent example of an original. I am not aware of anyone reproducing these. It has a patent date of APR 15, 1872 and no other markings that I can find. The scabbard, however shows no signs of great age. You be the judge.
