Description:
This 1917 produced .30-06 Springfield 1903 rifle has a 24” blued tapered round barrel. The bore has shallow rifling and light pitting. The rifle has the original elevation and windage adjustable ladder rear sight with a blade front. The receiver and bottom metal show signs of finish wear. The Walnut stock features a trap door compartment (empty) for a cleaning kit. The comb and wrist of the stock have been altered and re-shaped. Please Note: The rear military sling swivel is missing a screw. Also the bolt handle has been bent slightly back to be more in-line with the trigger. Due to the condition of the bore and modifications on the rifle as stated earlier we are selling this rifle AS-IS. This rifle comes with two military sling swivels and a stacking swivel. Length of pull is 12-3/4”, overall length is 43-1/4”, and weight is 8.6 lbs. Our stock number is #C181. Will ship to any FFL in the United States. Buyer pays freight and insurance.
