Mauser Banner Siamese Commercial Contract Pistol is one of 350 made for Siam, Thailand in 1937. 4055V serial number matches throughout, including magazine. Chamber is dated 1937 and has the 5-line Banner logo. Siamese Lion and other characters are stamped on the rear of the frame. "Odin, Alex, VA" is double-stamped on the front of the frame beneath the serial numbers. Metal components retain 80% of original blued finish, most wear on the grip straps. Strawing almost completely worn from smaller parts. Still a nice overall condition for a pistol used in the Tropics.
