This is a wonderful and richly patinated Ivory Nude lady.
Estate item WWII brought back from India 1945.
The statue measures 7 1/2 inch with the wood base.
Bottom marked 1945 and India # 30. (do not know what the 30 means.)
Cross hatching evident. some natural hairlines (common for Ivory)
No damage that I can see. Amazing piece of art and WWII collectible.
I was told the original owner flew the hump and also went into Burma.
No question this is an early and legal piece.
