1911A1 Colt manufactured 1942 from my personal collection. Has over 90% of its original,unreworked O.D. finish and is in perfect mechanical condition,shows some edge/holster wear more on left side of slide.Barrel is bright and shinny w/no pitting. Holster is Graton & Knight 1943 in good condition.The left side of the slide is marked "PATENTED April 20 1897 Sept/ 9 1902 / DEC.10,1905. AUG.19,1913", rampant colt, and "COLT'S PT. F.A. MFG. CO. / HARTFORD, CT. U.S.A.", the top of the slide is marked "P". The left of the frame below the magazine release is marked with a “P” acceptance proof, the left side of the frame above the magazine release shows inspector’s mark "WB.".Stocks show little wear and no cracks. The right side of the frame is marked “UNITED STATES PROPERTY / No 825416” and “M1911 A1 U.S. ARMY”. The rear face of the slide, under the firing pin plate, is marked "823/415".Magazine marked “S” (scoville) is a correct WWII 7 rnd mag. Bolt face on slide is near perfect.The left link-lug of the barrel is marked "P" and the left of the barrel is marked "COLT 45 AUTO" .A fine gun and nice outfit .Buyer pays $45 USPS reg /insured mail &shipping.FFL/Curio Relic required.no trades.If buyers FFL demands FFL from seller add $25.most forms of payment acceptable
