Payment Types Accepted: Postal Money Orders Description: This is a Weatherby Vanguard Deluxe, in 7MM Remington Mag, 3 shot in the mag, early Japanese manufacture not the new Howa made today, 24-inch barrel, blond walnut stock. Overall is in 90+ percent condition. There are lite handing marks on the wood and lite bluing fading on the muzzle, and small marks on the floor plate. This was my favorite hunting rifle from the mid-’80s until now (81 years old), use it to hunt moose (6), bear (5), caribou (13), and untold deer. See picture of 600 plus lbs. This rifle is almost identical to a Mark V this looks like the later Vanguard VGX Deluxe, with a high luster blue finish on barrel and receiver, and a nicely figured claro walnut Monte Carlo stock with cut checkering and a rosewood forearm tip and pistol grip cap set off by Maplewood line spacers.
