Smith and Wesson Chief's Special Model 60 Virginia State Police 55th Anniversary (1932 - 1987) commemorative. .38 special caliber. Barrel length 2.0 inches. "J" frame. Like new - excellent condition. Stainless finish. This was the first Smith and Wesson gun manufactured in stainless steel. Metal engraving on the frame, and back strap. Right side of frame is etched with 2 state police uniform shoulder patches (one worn in 1932 and one worn in 1987). Back strap is engraved with inscription "V. S. P. 55th Anniversary Ed." Manufactured approximately 1987. Only 190 were made in this configuration. Factory checkered walnut magna grips with round butt. Serial number AFP0037. All original papers are included. Correct original box for this model, barrel length and finish is included. The serial number on the end label of the box has been blacked out.
Shipping to your FFL only. Inspection must be done on the premises of the receiving FFL only. Do not remove firearm from receiving FFL before inspection is completed and firearm is accepted. We provide a 3 day window to complete reasonable inspection. Inspection starts on date of delivery to receiving FFL. Do not disassemble. If you are unsatisfied, do not complete transfer. Promptly return item using original packaging. We do not reimburse return shipping cost. Add shipping cost of $35.
