Description:
This is a very nice and early Ruger number 1 in .243 Win. The rifle is 1 of approximately 7500 non-prefix number 1's made. This nice Rifle is a 10 on the Clayton rarity scale. 4 for cal, 2 for bbl and 4 for SN. In typical Ruger fashion the wood on this one is hit or miss the butt stock being a hit and the forearm a miss. This is a sharp looking and collectible rifle. .243 Winchester

Chambers: Single shot falling block.
Metal Condition: Excellent and very close to new.
Wood Condition: Excellent with a few tiny dents on the bottom of the forearm.
Bore Condition: Bright and shiny.
Barrels: 26" gloss blue with a quarter rib.
Triggers: Single blue.
Stock Dimensions:
13 1/2" LOP.
Fore End: Very nice walnut with checkering (Beavertail style).
Butt Pad: "Very nice high grade walnut with a concave (1st style) checkered pistol grip, steel grip cap and a Red rubber butt pad.
