This a beautiful and stunning, very limited-run, modern-production semi-automatic 1918 Colt BAR that was made by Ohio Ordnance Works. This Browning Automatic Rifle was made for Colt under license from Ohio Ordnance Works. These very scarce Browning Automatic Rifles are of the very highest quality, built from the finest materials and hand-fit to exacting tolerances. They are fully-functional near-identical copies of the original, only with a redesigned receiver to prevent the use of any full-auto parts. If you were to put one of these side by side to an original, it would be nearly impossible to tell the difference between the two. These BAR's have proven to be exceptional weapons, both extremely reliable and accurate to match their spectacular looks. This particular example is one of a only 1000 Colt-licensed BAR's made by Ohio Ordnance Works and a very early example, serial number 23. It is pristine in every way, never once fired since leaving the factory. The factory blue finish is bright, beautiful, and perfect in every way. There are no handling marks, scratches, marring, or finish wear of any kind. All of the factory markings are crisp and clean, and the Rampant Colt logo on top of the receiver is particularly handsome. The bore is pristine and perfect, with sharp rifling and no visible imperfections of any kind. The factory stock set is beautiful and in perfect condition in every way. Both parts are free from any handling marks, cracks, scratches, or wear of any kind. All of the stock hardware is intact and perfect, including the blue finish on the buttplate. This Colt BAR is mint in every way, inside and out. All of the controls are crisp and like-new. This would be a spectacular addition to any military weapons collection, and one of very few ways you can own the famous BAR of WW1 and WW2 fame without Class 3 paperwork and a small fortune.
