CIVIL WAR ERA COLT MODEL 1849 PERCUSSION .31 CAL. 4” SIX SHOT POCKET REVOLVER MANUFACTURED IN 1861. All original and all matching (including wedge) in very good plus to fine condition. Excellent markings and good cylinder scene. Nice original blue grey patina. Crisp “COLTS/PATENT” stamp on frame and perfect one line “COL. SAML COLT” New York barrel address. Excellent original walnut grips with nearly all the finish. Tight working order and excellent bore. Nice example original to the last screw. Made during first year of the Civil War.
