Southern style longer than usual 4” barrel tang with two retaining screws. Probable Virginia/Tennessee/North Carolina triangle origin. Tiger maple stock with brass mounts and side plate and very long toe plate. Double set triggers. Engraved lock plate stamped “Warranted” forward of hammer. Southern style tear drop cheek rest with German silver “Star” inlay. Excellent for it’s age and type with very nice bore with crisp rifling. Has all the original patina on metal and stock is in good condition with very nice tiger maple grain. Triggers in working order. 100% original including the hickory ramrod. SOLD Antique: Yes |
