WW1 & WW2 SPRINGFIELD U.S. MODEL 1903 .30-06 RIFLE CIRCA 1918. Serial numbered in the 992,xxx range manufactured in 1918 with WW2 Springfield barrel dated “4-42”. Serial numbered in a range with many documented Marine Corps issued 1903’s were still in service during the battle of Guadalcanal early in the war. Very good to fine and all original with most of the dark parkerized finish. Matching hand guard and stock with all the original finish with very light wear. Visible Ordnance cartouche opposite bolt. Perfect working order and excellent bore. With original U.S. leather sling.
