For the Savage model 99 the Rolls-Royce of Lyman sights is the model 56S. It is a micrometer-adjustable sight that is installed on the model 99's tang in the factory holes. Obviously for the (pre-tang safety) models only. The sight is in excellent condition as you can see and works just as it should. It comes with the mounting screws as shown. This is a very rare sight to find in this condition.
