Description:
This sale offers a custom, stainless steel Remington Model 700 chambered in 7mm-08. This rifle, serial number RR57615G, is equipped with a 24” Hart custom barrel with 1-9 twist, Timney trigger and an HS precision stock and is topped off with a Leupold 40 mm VX3i 3.5-10x scope with Leupold mounts. The gun is in as new condition. This rifle was built by a gunsmith named Sam Dayton in Portsmouth, VA. If you Google Sam Dayton, gunsmith, you'll find some very impressive credentials. The gun was built for accuracy and using 120 gr. or 140 gr. ballistic tip bullets, it consistently shoots 1/2 MOA groups at 200 yards.
