Payment Types Accepted: Money Order, Certified Check Description: Sale Pending. This is a large style original Henry Deringer Percussion Pistol in .45 Caliber. These are a bit scarcer than the smaller pocket Deringers and come with a full nose cap and ramrod. It's in .45 Caliber with 3 5/8" Barrel. Almost 8" overall. Features include walnut grips with standard wrap-around checkering, and nicely engraved German Silver mountings. These are handsome pistols and it's no wonder that these were widely copied throughout America by various makers and even in Europe during the mid-19th century. Lockplate and top of barrel are stamped "DERINGER PHILADELPHI A" with the large "P" proof on left side of the barrel. There may still be a bit of original browning on the barrel as you can still see a contrast between the case hardened breech which is darker in color. Wood is solid with no signs of any major repairs. Action works. Bore appears to be Very Good with nice deep grooves between the 7 wide lands of the rifling. Front and rear sights are intact. Ramrod is a newer replacement. Antique, Pre-1898. No FFL Required. 25.00 shipping. No sales to NYC, NJ, Chicago. Sale Pending. SOLD Antique: Yes Manufacturer: Henry Deringer Philiadelphia, PA |
