Description:
An interesting London marked 16ga fowler with a 31 1/2" barrel and clean bore with roughness in patches. The back action lock, and hammer have chisel engraved designs and a hunt scene on the lock plate. The action works well, and the barrel is a pleasing plum color, with three inlaid silver bands at the breech. Second ram-tod ferrule is not present. Trim is German silver and steel, and comes with a hard-wood ram-tod and brass tip. The stock is in very good condition, and appears to be figural French walnut with agressive grain. LOP is about 15". When buying a gun always have it examined by a competent gunsmith before shooting. To buy a gun from me you must get a direct email for me, with details, and shipping cost.
