Winchester 94 Cheyenne Carbine 44-40 Win
This is a Model 94 "CHEYENNE CARBINE". These were manufactured in 1977 in memory of the Cheyenne Indian Nation. Chambered for the .44-40 cartridge, it wears a 20" barrel with iron sights and has a 10-shot magazine capacity. There is a saddle ring on the left side of the receiver and a factory installed tang peep sight as well. The receiver, lever, and barrel bands are gold plated. The receiver is engraved with a Cheyenne brave on horseback hunting buffalo with scroll work on the left and an Indian Chief with full headdress followed by a brave and the legend "Cheyenne" on the right. The barrel, magazine, buttplate, trigger and hammer are blue finished with the barrel rollmarked "Cheyenne Carbine" in gold. The stocks are walnut with a gold colored medallion set into the right side of the butt and Indian style brass tacks adorning the forearm. This rifle is unfired, in "as new condition" . There is no rust or pitting. The stocks are in excellent shape, free of cracks, chips, dings, or wear. It comes in the original box with manual, poster & hang tag.
