A excellent conditon Match Target Woodsman. Manufactured in 1953 with little use. All the deep, rich metal blue is in 98+% condition. It has the thumb rest checkered plastic grips with the rampant Colt logo. There is a wide trigger shoe installed that looks to have been with the gun since day one. The front and rear target sights are original and untouched with even the rear sight ears showing all the original blue. The magazine release is behind the trigger and not at the bottom of the grip. The mag. is original Colt and marked. The barrel is 6" with a heavy profile and near perfect rifling. This is the highly desireable 2nd series and it is about as nice as you will find.
