Description:
1978 manufactured Colt Python chambered in 357 Magnum. This Python features a 6 inch barrel, aftermarket checkered grips, serrated ramped front sight, adjustable rear sight, and gloss blue finish. This 1978 vintage Colt Python is in great original condition but does show light various signs of handling and very light signs of surface rust, with the worst of it being on the ends of the cylinder. The surface rust appears to have been removed some time ago. The factory markings are crisp and clean, and both the face of the cylinder and the rear star are in great shape. The bore is bright, with sharp rifling, and the action functions perfectly, with a tight lock-up. The original grips have been replaced with larger checkered walnut grips. This Colt Python would be an fantastic addition to any collection or a superb shooter. No box or paperwork.
