The Savage/Anschutz Model 164M Sporter .22 Win Magnum bolt-action rifle sports a classic appeal combined with unmatched performance, as this rifle is regarded as an incredibly accurate .22-win mag by gun enthusiasts worldwide. This prestigious design features a 1-piece stock with intricate multipoint checkering at the rear and fore grips, Monte Carlo comb, cheekpiece and a Schnabel forend, in addition to sling swivel studs, a black buttplate, stainless bolt, detachable magazine, safety selector located just behind the bolt handle, an adjustable rear sight paired with a fixed hooded front sight post, and a blued finish. The top of the barrel is marked “Savage Anschutz Model 164M Sporter”, left side of the barrel is marked “Caliber 22 Win. Mag. - Made in West Germany”, the left side of the receiver is marked with a triangle “Z” proof, “Savage - Westfield Mass, U.S.A.” and “Anschutz - Ulm. West Germany”, and this rifle is also accompanied by its matching factory box.
