Description:
Reworked from WWI military parts for commercial sales outside of Germany. Crown/N Commercial proofs on the underside of barrel and left-side of receiver and breechblock. Last 2 digits of serial number on the underside of takedown lever, side plate, rear toggle link, and trigger. 92% factory reapplied bluing remains, some loss on high edges and barrel bands. Grips maintain sharp checkering, magazine is unnumbered and proper for the pistol.
Manufactured after the Great War for commercial sales within and outside of Germany, this 1920 Commercial Luger is marked with the "DWM" monogram on the toggle with the Commercial crown over "N" nitro commercial proofs visible on the receiver, barrel, and breechblock. "GERMANY" has been stamped on the left side of the receiver. All of the major metal components are blued, with the smaller components displaying a strawed and nitre blued finish. The frame, locking bolt, trigger, side plate, barrel, receiver, and rear toggle link are of corresponding serial numbers and are numbered in the appropriate commercial fashion.
