Description:
This pistol was made in August of 1944. Spreewerk was one of three World War II manufacturers of the P38 pistol. Spreewerk production started in 1942 and its code was cyq. Spreewerk also used serial numbers with suffix letters and applied to same serial numbering system as Mauser. Spreewerk P38s were manufactured in Czechoslovokia and the finish was not as nice as either the Mauser or Walther variations. This pistol displays a late war time finish, but appears to be functional. All visible serial numbers match. This pistol does have importer marks and both magazines appear to be reproductions. 9mm Luger
