Description:
RARE...1862 Dated Springfield Civil War Musket...2 STRONG Cartouches.....LAYAWAY? Early date (1861-62) Springfield muskets are
hard to find. This one appears to have an unsanded stock, with sharp cartouches. It has the typical handling marks often seen with
160 year old muskets. it has a "65" stamped in stock in fron of buttplate tang, and an "I" carved on stock, in front of triggerguard. The re is very light surface
rust on barrel. Easily removable. Bore is in great shape with STRONG rifling. A lightly used musket. It is missing half cock, but locks up strongly in
full cock. A soldier carved a slit in ramrod, for a cleaning patch. First I've ever seen. Second firearm ships FREE with this one. S/H $45. Thanks...Greg 06/21
