Description:
8-1/2 inch clip point blade with offset 'S' shaped handguard. A spiral carved bone handle with German silver ferrules. Missing the buttcap. The blade was once highly ornate and now just has traces of the original pattern and shows signs of some rather poor sharpening having been done. Other than that the metal is a grayish patina coloration. The carved bone handles have a few minor cracks but are still sound and serviceable. Good looking early Bowie with original sheath which is in VG condition for it's age and retains German silver engraved parts.
