Selling my beautifully restored Colt .45 SAA circa 1898. This gun was restored by Turnbull Restoration Company and you can see their quality through and through. All the edges are nice and sharp, roll marks are crisp, and the polishing is second to none. I didn't commision this restoration (purchased as is) but if you call Turnbull with the serial number they will confirm.
Gun works flawlessly...4 strong clicks and a nice clean break on the trigger. Carbona blue and vibrant Turnbull colors. Stocks are correct gutta percha and fit perfectly...no numbers scribed on the inside. All the major parts look original to me. The mainspring is a modern replacement but I do have an extra stiff period correct mainspring if that's important to you. Barrel interior is good with light pitting in areas (see photo).
Comes with the Colt Archives letter showing shipment to Simmons Hardware in 1898.
Since this is a pre-1899 gun it's considered antique and can therefor be shipped directly to you, it doesn't have to go through an FFL. Please add $50 for UPS shipping and insurance. Will require adult signature.
