Merkel BLE 12g 30"
Cool old German SxS. YOM 1926. Borderline engraving, horn capped pistol grip with unengraved gold medallion, Silver's recoil pad (somewhat ill-fitting), splinter forearm with Anson push rod, Purdey double underlug bolting, smooth concave tapered rib with single bead. Ribs re-layed and barrels re-blacked by Kirk Merrington. Excellent bores- recently inspected and serviced by Dan Morgan. Merkel made few pre-war sxs. Great colors!
