"Made circa 1770 in St. Etienne, France. Antoine Dumarest worked between 1750 and 1783. 52 caliber with 6" barrels. Barrels are damascened with 70% of the gilding. Stocks are excellent with very fine relief Rosettes behind the tang and silver escutcheons. The overall length of each pistol is 12". Beautiful pair made during the American Revolutionary war pistols!
