Description:
For your consideration is a 1944-dated German Radom P.35(p) VIS Radom Holster in black leather.

This holster is in excellent condition – the leather is soft & supple. The exterior exhibits minor rub wear throughout: all along the edges of the holster, the flap, magazine pouch, closing strap & belt loops. There are minor scuffs & scrapes but no major gouges, rips, tears, etc. The stitching is tight & completely intact throughout. Flap shows just a bit of wrinkling. The closure stud is bright & shiny. The closing strap shows minor wrinkling from use but is intact & fully functional. Belt loops are solid & both are firmly attached. There is just a bit of minor wrinkling on the body of the holster from using the closing strap with a bit of wrinkling on the toe as well. Overall, the holster retains about 95% of the black finish & exhibits even wear throughout. The overall look of this particular holster is a great “field used” character.

Interior of the holster is in like condition – excellent.  There is no lift strap, a common characteristic of later Radom holsters. One of the outstanding features of this holster is the absolutely superb markings. The ordnance code “grz” (Gebr. Krüger, Lederwarenfabrik u. Lederfäbere, Breslau, Germany) is nicely stamped with a lighter “g” but nice & crisp “rz”. The date stamp is a very sharp “194” indicating a “1944” production. The stand out markings are a really crisp waffenamt “WaA182” & very sharp “P 35(p)” ink stamp with about 95% of the stamp remaining – just a bit of wear on the “5” & “(p)” portions of the stamp.

Radom holsters have become somewhat scarce & finding a good one can be difficult. This is a particularly desirable example with excellent markings & moderate wear. This holster will pair well very with a 1943-1945 Radom pistol or fill that empty spot in your Radom holster collection.
