Description:
Marlin Model 1898 Takedown, exposed hammer pump action 12 gauge shotgun. The action functions. However, I have not fired the gun. Serial number indicates it was made ~1905/06. Barrel serial number does not match the action, which is normal for this shotgun. It has normal wear for its age and the stock has quite a few scratches. These shotguns are not known to be safe to fire, and I'm selling it as is. It would make a nice mantle piece.
