Colt 3rd Generation Signature Series 1860 Army .44 Cal Black Powder Revolver. This is a reproduction of the original Colt Army 1860.The Colt Army 1860 is a cap & ball .44-caliber single-action revolver used during the American Civil War made by Colt's Manufacturing Company. It was used as a side arm by cavalry, infantry, artillery troops, and naval forces. This 1860 Army features an open top frame, 8 inch round barrel, six shot cylinder, case colored push rod and frame, walnut grips, and brass trigger guard and front strap. This 1860 is unfired and in excellent condition. The blued finish is in fantastic shape with little to no signs of wear, and the faintest turn mark on the cylinder. The case coloring on the push rod and frame is in beautiful condition and still very vibrant. The brass trigger guard and front strap have been discolored from handling but could be easily polished to like-new condition. The bore of this particular 1860 is in like-new condition. All of the factory markings are prestine and crisp. The original factory grips on this Model 1860 are also in like-new condition with very miniscule amounts of visible wear. The action on this Model 1860 is smooth,timed perfectly, and has a superb lock up. This Model 1860 is in 100% mechanical condition.
