Minty Palmer Civil War Carbine. 50 CAL. The earliest cartridge bolt action weapon bought by the U.S. government. Produced by the E.G. Lamson and Company of Windsor , Vermont. Total produced 1001. 99.9% of the original Plum Blue on barrel. 99.9% Vivid Case Colors on lock,barrel band,end of bolt, trigger guard and plate, and buttplate. Wood is outstanding minus a couple of small marks on left side as seen in pics. All original finish. Cartouche is perfect, as are small sub-inspection marks. Bore is perfect-unfired.
