Description:
This original 11 gauge single muzzleloading shotgun has a tapered octagon to nine flats to double wedding bands to round 33-1/2" Damascus barrel with a good bore. Inscribed on the top flat in gold wash is Lott Reading. The breech plug has been nicely engraved and has 2 gold bands, plus a Platinum blow out plug. The P++++ grade European Walnut stock with a checkered wrist and forend, is mounted with very nicely engraved iron furniture including a horn nose cap. Two wedges secure the barrel to the stock. Tastefully engraved and enhanced with gold wash English bar percussion lock has Lott inscribed on the plate. The Ebony ramrod is complete with a covered wad puller screw. Length of pull is 13-3/4", overall length is 50”, weight is 6.2 lbs. Very good wood to metal fit - made by Lott Reading. Condition: Very Good. Our stock number is #P-23-68.
