Highly desirable and scarce transition era Model 70 SUPER GRADE in the ever popular 270 caliber. S/N 80*** with matching scribed bolt made in 1948. Excellent condition showing 98%+ Blue and Varnish. This rifle retains the Pre War style clover leaf tang with the "clam shell" aka "rabbit's foot" safety combination limited almost exclusively to rifles produced between 1946-48. All factory correct SG sights, swivels, and stamped floorplate. The Barrel is 24" with an excellent bore and all mechanical functions are working properly.
