Description:
Marlin 1894 rifle in 38-40 WCF. Full length 24" octagonal barrel and magazine. Receiver retains approximately 50% of the factory case colors. The barrel retains 90% of the original factory finish. The bore is bright and shinny. Rifling is sharp and crisp. Have shot this rifle with 180 gr cast bullets and 40 cal S&W jacket hollow points. This rifle will shoot clover leafs at 50 yards! The buttstock is free of stress cracks. Some fool inletted a silver horse shoe into the rear of the stock. There are several small nicks in the rear of the forend. There are two small plugged screw holes in the right side of the receiver. Must be for an aperture Lyman or Redfield sight. If you are looking for a great shooter this rifle is it! (Sale Pending)
