Description:
With only 6000 produced from 1991-1993, the Browning Model 42 was a reproduction of the sought-after Winchester Model 42 that was produced from 1933 to 1963. This Browning Model 42 features a 26" vent-rib barrel (Choked Full), 3 inch chamber, .410 bore, checkered walnut stock and forend, and gloss blue finish. This Model 42 retains almost 100% of its original gloss blue finish with the exception of some very light scuffs on the receiver and a few small nicks on the rib. The walnut stock and forend are in great condition minus various handling marks and the occasional scratch on the right side of the stock and left side of the forend. The checkering on the stock and forend is still sharp and crisp with the exception of two minuscule spots of wear. The action is super smooth and has a positive lock up, and functions 100%. No box or paperwork.
