I offer a non firing, non disassembly three day inspection return policy. Buyer is responsible for shipping cost both ways and also the return transfer fee from my FFL dealer as I am not an FFL dealer and the return has to be shipped back to him.

Description:
For sale is a pre 64 / pre War , Winchester Model 70 Carbine in 257 Roberts. It has matching numbers that date its manufacturing to 1940. It has a 20" barrel with correct front sight. The rear sight has a blank in it.( Interesting the blank has a big horn sheep engraved on it.) It comes with the bottom half ONLY Lyman receiver sight . It also has a Griffin & Howe side mount and rings. The blue on the barrel and receiver are in very good condition. The blue on the bottom floor plate and trigger guard shows a lot of ware. The wood has some handling marks , dings and scratches but no cracks , chips or defects. The fine checkering is in good condition except for a small bruise on the left front forearm. Please see image. All is fine mechanical , the bore is shinny and it has the original steel butt plate. . Buyer pays $65. Shipping and insured to lower 48 in a hard case .
