In the late 1980's Kimber enjoyed a reputation of producing excellent quality rifles. This 89 Big Game Rifle (BGR) exhibits the finest qualities of a world class hunting rifle. Features include full length Mauser-style claw extractor for true controlled round feeding and positive extraction. This gun exhibits a Winchester Model 70-style three position striker and a custom ordered 22" Featherweight chrome-moly barrel with a perfect, as new bore. Beautifully figured wood with borderless full checkering on forearm and wrist, fully inletted swivel studs and a macassar ebony forend tip finishes off this classic looking hunter! Its receiver is tapped ready to mount the scope of your choosing.
Weighing in at 7lb 13oz, this Big Game gun chambered in an easy to source caliber is a great find and top of the class of Kimber products.
