Description:
This early 1920's pistol was likely constructed of WWI military parts, arsenal reblued and transferred to the commercial market. Marked "Germany" under the front of the frame, Crown/N proofs are located on the left-side of the receiver, under the barrel and on the left-side of the breechblock. Matching serial numbers on smaller parts in the proper commercial manner. Grips are not numbered. 95% of bluing remains. Magazine shows some wear but functions fine, with overall mechanical excellence.
Manufactured in the second half of the roaring 1920's, this German DWM 1920 Commercial Luger semi-automatic pistol is chambered for the .30 Luger round and highly sought-after collectible. Bearing a "Crown/N" commercial proof on the left side of the chamber and on the bottom of the barrel, a "DWM" marked toggle, front of the frame has been export marked, with matching serial numbers on the frame, barrel, side plate, takedown lever and rear toggle. The round steel barrel topped with a blade front sight and a V-notch rear is accompanied by a, stock lug, checkered wood grips, and a wood bottom magazine marked "GERMANY".
