Description:
Back in 1973 Smith & Wesson teamed up with the Texas Rangers to commemorate the 150th anniversary of the
Texas Rangers. This resulted in a beautiful matched set of a model 19 S&W and a matching serial numbered Bowie knife made by Smith & Wesson.
Some of the knives were sold seperately. According to S&W some 5000 knives were sold seperately and only
100 of them were engraved, or more accurately etched. The knife pictured for sale is number 71 of 100.
The scene pictured on the knife blade is a Texas Ranger round up on horseback. The knife itself is quite beautiful
with the Texas Ranger logo embossed in the knife handle.
As you can imagine these engraved knives are very collectible.
