1920 Commercial Luger manufactured from surplus WWI parts. Reblued at the time of its post-WWI assembly. Small parts numbered in appropriate commercial style, with a magazine numbered to match the rest of the pistol. Unnumbered checkered grips, metal components maintain 95% of factory reapplied bluing, small parts retain 90% of strawed finish. Mirror more displays excellent grooves.
Manufactured after the conclusion of the First World War for commercial sales within and outside of Germany’s borders, the 1920 Commercial Luger is an iconic piece of firearm history. The toggle bears the "DWM" monogram, and a partially legible "GERMANY" import stamp is present on the left side of the frame. The commercial crown over "N" nitro proofs are present on the receiver, barrel, and breechblock. The frame, locking block, side plate, trigger, and barrel, display corresponding serial numbers which are stamped in the commercial fashion. The magazine bottom is marked "7.65", surrounded by checkered walnut grips.
